Dropped in for an unannounced tour of the facility and was immediately aware of the great rapore and happy feel of the facility. Groomers were talking to their dogs on the tables, viewed a Play TIme in their huge indoor playroom and watched staff getting down on the floor and interacting with the dogs. Facility is sparkling clean and pets looked happy and cared for.....I booked my Cloe in for a week and felt great about it. Had a great vacation and did not have to worry. Came back and picked up a happy dog. Thank you everyone at Home Away From Home Pet Spa

I left my 15 yr. old golden at Home Away From Home while on my vacation. While grooming my pet an ear problem was spotted. Home Away From Home Staff were good enough to contact me, get a vet and take my golden in for a vet visit and meds. My pet was duly spoiled and in perfect health when I picked him up 10 days later. They treated him like family and were wonderful in every respect. Thank you all at Home Away From Home

We came up in our motorhome to Grants Pass. Traveling with our two Labradoodles. A friend told us about Home Away From Home and their Play Days. What a wonderful experience we had. My husbank and I got to see Crater Lake, the Gulch, enjoy a dinner trip with Hellsgate and our dogs enjoyed their days socializing with other dogs and playing. Thank you Home Away From Home for making our trip free of care and fun for all.

Hi. We have two Standard Poodles Bella and Beau, We are very touchy about how our dogs are groomed and how they look. We have been coming to Sandy's Home Away From Home for the past year and a half and can say that we have definitely found a groomer to stay with. Not only do our dogs come home looking GREAT but they know when they are going in for a groom, dancing to the car and are excited and happy to be handed over to their groomer. A happy dog tells the true story and our story always has a happy and pretty ending. Wish I had a picture to show you. Thanks

My father is retired and recently widowed. We talked and decided that a rescue dog might be a great companion for him. Found him a Shephard/cross Shasta" and checked out groomers....turns out Shasta had past problems with groomers and we were having trouble finding a groomer who would take her in for repeat grooms. We heard about Home Away From Home and Dad, Shasta and I went in to check it out. Shasta is getting monthly baths and Dad feels so relaxed and He and Shasta are now in novice obedience class. Dad and Shasta are busy, socializing, and proud of their accomplishments.

I've taken my dog here since she was a very small pup, we have paid hundreds of dollars in training and have bought many of their products. So when I had go away for the weekend for work, I was comfortable with the idea of boarding her there. When I arrived, they were unorganized and took my dog without even letting me say goodbye. They didn't offer any type of upgrades such as extra playtime, I had to ask for it. But I felt my pup was in good hands. On the way home, I got stuck in traffic, when a person is traveling, delays are just a part of a trip, I arrived at 5:15, 15 minutes after closing, but the classes go on till 8, so I thought I would be able to get my pup. When I talked to the owner, she was extremely rude, she basically told me to leave and kept repeating the hours to me. She had no sympathy and clearly did not care at all about the situation. I understand she's running a business, but I was 15 minutes late! It's not like I was asking her to open a store to buy a pair of shoes! This is my baby! This dog is my life, I love her and I just wanted to bring her home with me. The owner didn't have to be so rude, I offered to pay for an extra day, I don't care about the money, I want my dog. she just repeated the hours to me AGAIN, like I didn't hear them the first 50 times. She was just speaking over me with "we're open from 8-5" over and over again! Unfortunately I work from 8-5 monday through friday, which means in order for me to pick her up, I have to take off work early. This is extremely inconvenient, but the most upsetting part about all of this, is the way I was treated. I will never return to this place, and I do not recommend it to anyone. There is never a reason to treat a nice, loyal customer this horrifically. I feel like my dog is being held hostage. DO NOT BOARD HERE. Please find somewhere that actually CARES about their customers.
