Established in 1973, Applegate Kennels was built by the Ross Bower family with the help of a local contractor. At that time the Bowers already had extensive experience in dogs, showing Scotties, Cairns, West Highland White Terriers and Skye Terriers as well as caring for dogs belonging to other than family members. The kennel was designed by Ross Bower incorporating all the features that are important for the comfort of our canine guests as well as sanitary provisions which enable the kennel runs to be quickly and thoroughly cleaned daily.

If you would like to see our kennels, please feel free to come for a visit during our hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday except for Wednesday afternoon when we are closed.
